“Expressivity in its noblest form” – first releases of all Schubert symphonies with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and Nikolaus Harnoncourt from 1988
The CD box set “Schubert – The Symphonies” will be released on November 6, 2020 on the ICA Classics label as a collaboration with the ORF and Styriarte and marks the beginning of a series of further previously unreleased recordings by Nikolaus Harnoncourt and the COE, which will be continued in 2021 to mark the orchestra’s 40th anniversary.
