The Art of Pausing

American pianist Eric Lu, winner of the 2025 International Chopin Competition and the 2018 Leeds International Piano Competition, captivates audiences with his lyrical tone, expressive interpretations and distinctive ability to shape musical time.

During the 2026/27 season, he will appear at leading European concert venues, including Konzerthaus Dortmund, the Kölner Philharmonie, Konzerthaus Berlin, the Royal Festival Hall in London and the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique in Paris. Alongside solo recitals featuring works by Brahms, Schubert, Chopin, Schumann and Prokofiev, his season will also include piano concertos by Grieg, Mozart and Saint-Saëns.

A Schumann album featuring ‘Waldszenen’ is scheduled for release on Warner Classics in mid-2027.
