Ariadne Daskalakis ‐ CD-Project Schubert - Vol. 2

The extant music for violin by Franz Schubert fits comfortably on two discs, and Ariadne Daskalakis released the first disc of her survey in 2019, to critical acclaim. The disc included works for violin and piano as well as three pieces with orchestral accompaniment, in performances described in The Strad as having ‘a litheness and shimmering delight that capture the music’s innate charm and dance-like vivacity with a beguiling sureness of touch.’

Nico and the Navigators ‐ Force & Freedom - staged concert

Compulsion and freedom are the poles between which the life and work of Ludwig van Beethoven can be placed. This is exemplified by his late work, which transcends the boundaries of form, becomes fragile and reaches a level of freedom and radicalism never before seen. Staged Concert for a string quartet, an electric guitar, four performers, a sound designer and two cameras.

Alessio Pianelli ‐ CD project "A Sicilian Traveller"

With his new album "A Sicilian Traveller", the young Italian cellist and composer Alessio Pianelli speaks directly from the soul and takes us on a very personal journey - through his own arrangements of selected works of selected works by Sulchan Tsintsadze, Vardapet Komitas, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Nikos Skalkottas, Béla Bartók and with works from his own pen. It is the longing for the physical experience and personal sublimation of new, different impressions beyond one's own pandemically prescribed home base that particularly concerns us all these days.

Theo Plath ‐ CD project: works for bassoon/piano

In 2019 Theo Plath was appointed principal bassoon player of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and won 3rd Prize at the ARD Competition in Munich. In 2019 he recorded a solo CD with the German Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, due for release on the Genuin classics label in 2020. In May 2021 his second album with works for bassoon and piano will be released on the label CAvi with works by Saint-Saëns, Boulanger, Debussy und Franck.

Stavanger Symphony Orchestra ‐ CD project Bruckner: Symphony No. 7

The Stavanger Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is one of Scandinavia’s most successful orchestras. SSO performs and has its concerts in the Fartein Valen in Stavanger concert hall which is considered one of the best concert halls in Europe. Andris Poga has been appointed SSO’s new Chief Conductor, effective as of 2021/22. In winter 2020, they released a new CD with Bruckner's Symphony No. 7 under the baton of Markus Stenz. Bruckner’s 7th is the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra's fifth recording on its own record company, SSO Recordings. The CD is available digitally and as CD and on Vinyl.

Trio Imàge ‐ CD-Project Dvořák-Fall-Dyakov

The Imàge‘s debut CD, the complete piano trios of Mauricio Kagel, created a sensation. It was awarded the ECHO Klassik prize 2014 for the best premiere recording of the year; it was also nominated for the Deutscher Schallplattenpreis and it was received with praise and applause by the press. Their second CD, with chamber music by Hans Sommer, a contemporary of Brahms, was also nominated for the Deutscher Schallplattenpreis. The third album also includes two world premiere recordings of Fall and Dyakov, combined with Dvořák and will be released in November 2020.
