Contemporary Beethoven: Amelio Trio with new Album ‘Beethoven X Schachtner’
The Amelio Trio – ECHO Rising Star 2026/27 this season – is releasing its new album Beethoven X Schachtner: Situated between Beethoven’s early Op. 1 No. 3 and the ‘Archduke Trio’ Op. 97, Schachtner’s work ‘In tiefer Ehrfurcht’ offers a contemporary response to Beethoven’s ‘Archduke Trio’. Created to mark the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s death in 2027, the work highlights the enduring connection between Beethoven’s music and the modern era.
