Rediscovering Sibelius – Pianist Annika Treutler joins forces with the Aris Quartet to explore a fascinating yet little-known chapter in Jean Sibelius's oeuvre.

The Space Within – or: What if Mozart had written a concerto for accordion and orchestra? On his new album, released by the Artway Next label (27 March 2026), João Barradas brings this question to life and at the same time draws a line to the present.

The ensemble was founded by young musicians in Augsburg in 1990. On their new album, which will be released in collaboration with BR Klassik and Avi Records in March 2026, the bayerische kammerphilharmonie will focus on the music of Mieczysław Weinberg.

On their album "Erlkönig", the lieder pianist Doriana Tchakarova, together with the baritone Johannes Held, present 13 versions of Goethe’s ballad, from Corona Schröter’s very first version from 1782 through Schubert to a contemporary approach – including a world premiere.

Simon Tetzlaff learned his craft from some of the most distinguished cellists and teachers, and is now offering his passion for music making to a variety of audiences worldwide. He is the recipient of the Janos Starker Foundation Award of 2024. In recent years, Simon Tetzlaff performed as a soloist with the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, Württembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn and the Hamburg Camerata. His debut album, featuring works by Kodály, Ysaÿe, and Sibelius, will be released in 2025 on Hänssler Classic.
