Amelio Trio: Time in flux… debut album
The Amelio Trio, ECHO Rising Stars of the 2026/27 season and recent winners of the Hans Gál Ensemble Prize, are currently taking the world’s stages by storm.
After winning the German Music Competition in 2024, the young piano trio is now presenting its debut album (release date 5 September 2025) as part of a collaboration between Deutschlandfunk, the German Music Council and GENUIN with a cohesive programme: The trios by Charles Ives, Ludwig van Beethoven, Ursula Mamlok and Johannes Brahms flow into one another, forming a musical bridge across centuries and continents. Birke Bertelsmeier’s ‘vertrautes angezogensein’ (familiar attraction), composed especially for this album, revisits all the previous works and completes the tonal arc.
