HELIKON – Danae Dörken: Homage to Mikis Theodorakis on his 100th birthday
To mark the 100th birthday of Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis, Danae Dörken’s very personal album HELIKON will be released on 6 June 2025 on the Berlin Classics / EDEL label. For the album, Danae Dörken combines seven famous Songs in an arrangement for solo piano with the Suite No. 1 and the Helikon Concerto No. 2, the latter accompanied by the Staatskapelle Weimar under the direction of Kornilios Michailidis.
