The internationally acclaimed cellist Alban Gerhardt recorded Prokofiev’s Sinfonia concertante op. 125 in 2009 with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra for Hyperion. In Stuttgart he will perform this rarely played piece with the Radio Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart of the SWR under Thomas Dausgaard.
